In the #Russian invasion of Ukraine section.
I don't want to edit this topic, so I won't comment on anything else. But is that really necessary? – 2804:F1...E1:58DB (talk) 04:08, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Maternal name?

[edit]

@TDKR Chicago 101, Does lula is his maternal surname? 182.253.54.117 (talk) 03:44, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

He is a former inmate

[edit]

Why did someone remove that? Explain 2804:18:141:E44C:D162:16DA:6B9B:5BB1 (talk) 01:55, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did explain the reason I removed your edit, on your talk page. Wikipedia has a "best-practices" policy for the first sentence or two of a biography: the lead sentence should describe what the person is BEST-KNOWN for. The opening of the article should not "overload the first sentence by describing everything notable about the subject; instead, spread relevant information over the lead section." The information about his imprisonment hasn't been removed from the article. In fact, it's detailed extensively in the fourth paragraph, and again in the section "Operation Car Wash". Joyous! Noise! 04:11, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I concur. Ask someone who Lula is and the average response will not be "the former inmate (whose convictions were nullified)?" Yue🌙 06:21, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
